Microneedling
Microneedling is a cosmetic procedure that involves using fine needles to puncture the skin in order to create a controlled skin injury. This injury triggers the body’s natural healing process, which results in the production of collagen and elastin, leading to firmer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin. Microneedling can be used to treat a variety of skin concerns, including acne scarring, fine lines and wrinkles, and hyperpigmentation.
The procedure can be performed in the clinic and typically takes about 30 minutes to an hour to complete. It may require multiple sessions for optimal results. Microneedling is considered a safe and effective treatment option with minimal downtime
